Food Labelling

Food labelling is the most diverse of all label end-uses, ranging from product tracking and marking sell-by dates to promotion.
It’s imperative that labels in the food industry retain their adhesive properties when:

  • applied to cold and moist surfaces

  • subsequently placed in deep freeze storage

  • in contact with fat and oil

  • In Direct contact with Fruit/ Vegetable.

  • The substrates labelled in the food industry include glass, hard and soft plastics, fibre-based materials like paper and board, and metals. Special areas in this segment include open-closure (resealing) applications, direct food contact such as fruit labelling, and promotional booklet labels containing recipes, etc.
